Job description
- Assist in managing and maintaining cloud infrastructure on AWS.
- Support CI/CD pipeline implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Assist with application deployments and release activities.
- Deploy and manage applications using container technologies such as Docker.
- Support Kubernetes deployments, monitoring, and troubleshooting activities.
- Assist with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) initiatives using Terraform.
- Support web servers and reverse proxies such as Nginx, including basic configuration, troubleshooting, and log analysis.
- Monitor system health, application performance, logs, dashboards, and alerts.
- Perform basic troubleshooting of infrastructure, application, deployment, and web server issues, escalating when required.
- Collaborate with Development, QA, Security, and Infrastructure teams to support application releases.
Job requirements
- Internship experience or 0–2 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud, System Administration, Infrastructure Support, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, CloudWatch, and Load Balancers.
- Good understanding of Linux administration and command-line tools.
- Basic knowledge of CI/CD concepts and tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar.
- Experience using Git and version control systems.
- Familiarity with Docker and containerized applications.
- Basic understanding of Nginx web server configuration, reverse proxy concepts, SSL/TLS, and log troubleshooting.
- Basic understanding of networking fundamentals including DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, and Load Balancers.
- Basic scripting knowledge using Bash or Python.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
